I will start my article with a story of the two wolves.there was an elderly man who told his grandson stories for life. He said: there are two wolves in our mind one of them is wild wolf which enforces anger, envy, self-doubts, and pity. The second wolf is good wolf which enforces peace, forgiveness, compassion, love, self-esteem, and gratitude. The grandson said: “which wolf will win”. The grandfather said:” the one you will feed more”. That is how negativity happens when we are enforces negative feelings like anger, envy, self-pity, and regret. When we see only the negative side of life, negativity has a hard wire.
There are some factors of negative thinking such as circumstances, genes, culture, and biochemical circumstances which wired to our mind. Sometimes, craving for more, envy, comparing, and looking for things in a way that we need more things to be luxury and happy.
Therefore, all of these factors constitute barriers of gratitude. We earned everything we have. For example, fresh food, fruits and organic food. Do we plant them! We take a look around us, and scan the space to feel all of these blessings around us. We all want a beautiful life forever. If we remember our past, we think with dark side. Let’s try to love our past and make it a valuable experience.
I failed in my collage 3 times, it was not the end of the world. I transferred my emotions to there was a great wisdom behind it. We felt the pain and cried. It passed already and it was a great success to translate an English book as a graduated project, I will publish an Arabic and English books in my life. God grant us with many gifts in our path. I learned from Tamara Levitt how to overcome our dark past by writing a love letter to myself:
Re framing exercise:
I knew when you faced this kind of failure caused a lot of pain. You have a strong character from this failure, you have the wisdom to deal with life with flexibility. And you grew from this experience. This is a victory. As long as I have lost my best friend, I have good memories that I am very grateful for them.
We will see basic things for being gratitude, for example, fresh bread, clean air, and kind of stranger. And develop a habit of gratitude.
I recently transferred to my sister room, I was thinking to buy a doll house as a gift for myself. When I was a child it was my dream to have a doll house.
I am really gratitude for what we earned in our life. Thus, I will insert a good exercise that we will need to do it together every morning in the same time.
Write 10 blessings or things that you are gratitude for them.
Kindly we need to remind our self to write them every morning. Even if we put a note on our fridge or desk. I can feel the pleasure and enjoyment in my life by doing this exercise for 2 months.
